CRAIG R. S
HAGIN, Member, is a graduate of Haverford College [B.A.]  and Villanova University School of Law [J.D., cum laude].  He was admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania in 1980 and subsequently to the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania and to the U.S. Court of Appeals, Third Circuit and Fourth Circuit.  Mr. Shagin had earlier been an associate at the Philadelphia law firm of Schnader, Harrison, Segal & Lewis and a law clerk to the Honorable Edmund B. JOHNNA J. KOPECKYJOHNNA J. KOPECKY, Associate, joined The Shagin Law Group LLC in 2003 after practicing in Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, since 1988.  Her professional concentrations include the areas of family law, real estate, estate planning and administration, and bankruptcy and mortgage foreclosures, representing primarily creditors.  A former assistant district attorney for Cumberland County, Johnna assisted the late President Judge Dale F. Shughart, Jr., in the writing of his book, Pennsylvania Civil Practice.  She is a graduate of the Pennsylvania State University [B.A.] and the Dickinson School of Law [J.D.] and is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania and the United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania.   Johnna can be contacted directly at This email address is being protected from spambots. Val 2014VALERIE BURCH, Associate. Prior to joining The Shagin Law Group LLC in 2012, she handled immigration-focused impact litigation as a staff attorney for the American Civil Liberties Union of Pennsylvania and fast-paced immigration removal defense cases as managing attorney for the Pennsylvania Immigration Resource Center. Her focus is on cases raising the constitutional rights of non-citizens, immigration habeas, defensive asylum applications, the immigration consequences of criminal convictions and petitions for review of removal orders. She is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit and the U.S. District Courts for the Middle and Eastern Districts of Pennsylvania. She is a 2004 graduate of Penn State's Dickinson School of Law and a 2000 graduate of the University of Rochester.

 

MARIA HERNANDEZ, Legal Assistant, joined the firm in 2012.  She is a bilingual graduate of Harrisburg Area Community College.
